 The
Omron C Series is a true family of Programmable Controllers which
share a consistent delivery of innovation and high functionality to
a wide scope of applications, this is combined with a design philosophy
allowing for ease of use and integration. From micro controllers with
the option for built-in Bus masters, to high functionality machine
controllers, through to fully modular high-end performance systems
with co-processing special I/O. The C Series provides comprehensive

HMI
Omron's
NT Series operator interfaces enhance any application with bright, easy
to read screens.
Choose
from compact character based function key terminals to fully graphical,
high-powered colour touch screens. A full range is available from Omron
to suit any application. All models provide optimal connection to Omron
PLC including the high speed NT-Link connection. However, connection to
other PLC brands is also possible.
You
can easily create and download screen data in a familiar Windows environment
using the NT Series Support Tool.
Display And Meters
Omron's full
line of reliable Digital Displays and Panel Meters allows you to choose
the best display for your process monitoring and control applications.
Choose from our broad range of intelligent panel meters with built-in
display and control functions or select a simple digital display. Both
choices gives you Omron quality and long service life.
Mechatronics
Omron's recently
extended Sysdrive inverter and Omnuc servo ranges have been designed with
reliability, ease-of-use, performance and functionality in mind, providing
cost effective solutions to all variable speed and torque requirements.
Fieldbus capability centres on the widely adopted DeviceNet standard,
with providing option cards for connection to DeviceNet masters, such
as those within the Omron families of PLC controllers. The servomotors
have very low inertia allowing very fast acceleration and accuracy.
The combination of servodrivers, inverters and
PLC controllers offer the solution for a wide range of motion control
applications from speedcontrol to advanced synchronization of axes.
Advanced Sensors
Omron has
developed a wide range of special sensors to cover many different applications
by using different sensing techniques. Vision systems offer image processing
and pattern matching. Colour detection is possible using Vision systems
or special colour sensors. With laser techniques displacement can be measured
very accurately.
Photo Elec. Sensors
Covering the complete
spectrum of sensing techniques Omron's photo-electric sensor range
offers a real solution to many sensing applications. From multi channel
fibre optics and accurate background suppressed sensors to general purpose
sensors like through-beam, retro-, diffuse and limited reflective sensors
for standard applications. The sensor range is now standardizing on an
easy-to-use Touch to Teach system that ensures quick and simple sensor
setup.
Other Sensors
Omron has developed a wide
range of special sensors to cover many different applications by using
different sensing techniques. Capacitive or conductive sensing is used
for level control devices. A comprehensive range of rotary encoders are
available for positioning and counting applications. High class safety
light curtains satisfy the need for safety measures to prevent accidents.
Proximity Switches
A comprehensive range of
AC or DC inductive and capacitive proximity switches are available in
a variety of packages from short barrels, standard barrels, ring inductives,
flat packs and DIN standard limit switch styles. Housing materials include
Nickel-plated brass, Plastic and Stainless Steel which suit a wide range
of installation environments. The proximity switches offer a sensing range
of 0 - 40 mm allowing a wide variety of targets to be detected.
Temperature Controllers
The present range of Temperature
and Process controllers provides basic controllers suitable for simple
temperature applications, through to advanced process models complete
with programmable patterns and full communications.
Omron controllers and intelligent signal processors are now programmable
via dedicated software, allowing easy configuration and monitoring of
all parameters.
Timers
Timers can be a vital element
in your process. Therefore, Omron Timers are built according to the latest
quality standard requirements and our products are extensively inspected
and tested.

of timers which can be used in many different industrial applications.
Counters
How many ways do you need
to measure your process? More than likely, you list either counting or
totalling. This being the case, Omron provides you with more than one
tool to meet your requirements and budget without sacrificing quality
or performance. Choose from a variety of Digital Counters including 4
to 8 digit displays with LCD or negative red LCD technologic.
Relays
Omron

PCB mounting and Mechanical, Solid State and MOSFET switching types, Omron's

Switches

Safety Switches, Limit Switches, Micro Switches, Tactile Switches, Dip

machine tools, automotive, security, domestic goods, vending machines,

Power Supplies
Whether
for a large control panel, compact machinery where space is limited, or
an application on the production line, the Omron family of Switching Power
Supplies provides a model with the size, capacity and functionality for
all requirements. In addition, all Omron power supplies meet the requirements
of the new EU Power Factor Correction (PFC) legislation, which is effective
form January 1st 2001.
Low Voltage Switch Gear
To
enhance its product range in the field of motion control and low-voltage
switch gear, Omron supplies the J7 contactor series covering from 20 A
through 160 A. Omron offers a wide range of products complete with inverter
and soft starter for motor-control applications. This product range conforms
to EN/IEC and is also approved by UL/CSA. The complete J7 series is suitable
for any application in industry, home appliances and various controls
and machinery. The products are highly environmentally friendly (free
of cadmium, asbestos, halogen, PCBs, etc.).
