| This
broad spectrum of photo-electric sensors offers solutions to industrial
sensing applications and automation processes. The photo-electric
switches are available in through-beam, retro-reflective, proximity
scanners and fibre optic systems. Photo-electric reflex light grids,
final positioners, distance measuring, colour sensing, and registration
control mark sensing are also available with PNP, NPN, RS-232, 4-20mA
and relay outputs (depending on the model). |

offers a wide choice of models and housings in inductive proximity
sensors, which are ideal control components for demanding industrial
applications. For the detection of the piston position in pneumatic
cylinders, SICK can supply special magnetic cylinder sensors with
an ingeniously designed mountingsystem. Opto-electronic safety systems
from SICK provide reliable, contact-free personnel protection at danger
points and in danger areas of industrial manufacturing such as presses,
guillotines, robots, robotic welders, goods and passenger elevators.
These devices comply to international and European standards governing
the use of safety systems. Classes of protection offered are Class
1 to Class 4, with protected monitored areas of up to 1,8 metres high
x 18 metres long incorporating auto/manual reset, blanking and floating
blanking. |
